Gas fired heating

The domestic gas market has seen significant changes in legislation in recent years, in an attempt to reduce the so called greenhouse effect, by reducing the dangerous omissions that gas boilers omit.

The government has made it law that in the majority of cases, a gas boiler fitted after the 1st of April 2005 must be a condensing boiler. This has really changed gas heating as we know it, as old favorites like the back boilers & fire fronts such as the Baxi Bermuda range are no longer available as choice, as they are not condensing. They can still be used as a replacement in very special circumstances.

It means that if you boiler fails, there is a good chance the new one will not fit where the old one is removed from!

Gas condensing boilers do have some great advantages, such as they are very efficient & will show great savings on your fuel bills, and the fluing options seem to be endless.

As a company we install all main manufacturers’ boilers, such as Worcester-Bosch, Ideal, Baxi, Potterton and Ariston, as well as being a ‘Worcester-Bosch Accredited Installer’. This ensures that if and when the boilers need maintaining, parts if required are readily available, which is very important if the boiler is a combination boiler.

Our engineers are all fully qualified, Gas Safe registered and are able to service, maintain, install and commission Gas and LPG Fired Heating systems. For further information relating to Gas Safe, please see ‘Professional Bodies’

If you feel you are ready for a free of charge survey for a boiler replacement, then ‘Contact Us’ and we will be pleased to help.
